  13. Well, it's been two years since the TerrapinMUD went up, now it's seen
  14. the end of the tunnel.  The machine, bessel.umd.edu, can no longer
  15. house the game and is requesting the system be purged of the MUDgame.

  17. REQUEST:  A new MUD site to host the game.
  18.  
  19. SPECIAL REQUEST:
  20. I would like to have user (login) access so I can do modifications to
  21. the game.  I would like to have ample time to re-work TerrapinMUD so
  22. that I can remove many existing bugs and help develop the game so that
  23. a smoother transition can take place.  I would like to start a new MUD
  24. (not calling it TerrapinMUD) so that I can put the new ideas that I
  25. tried to implement with TerrapinMUD.

  27. REQUIREMENTS:
  28. The person helping to host the game must have authorization or even root
  29. access (legal) to help host the game.  A generally fast machine, considering
  30. that TerrapinMUD was operating on a Sparc 1+ (Sun4-12Mb RAM).

  32. NEW STRUCTURE:
  33. 1 or 2 Admin (Myself with the person hosting the game [optional])
  34. 1 God    (all the positions "God" and below, will be from previous wizards
  35. 1 Arch   of TerrapinMUD)
  36. 1 Wizard
  37. New Players.
