Hello, everyone.  I hope you all had a nice holiday.  Some time back, I
asked a question about Loom and got some helpful replies which hinted in
the right direction without disclosing the whole story.  This time, I am
hoping someone can help me likewise with my new Christmas game:  "Le
Chuck's Revenge:  Monkey Island 2." I don't want to know the whole
solution, but would like to get over my current hump.  So far, I am still
on the original island where Woodtick is.  I've been to the town and have
visited the barkeep and cook, the innkeeper, Wally the Cartographer, the
wood carver, the laundry man, the sleeping pirates and, of course, have
run into Largo.  I've gotten the toupe, spit, and grandfather's bone and
have delivered them to the voodoo woman.  I've also visited Captain Dread.
My problem is that I don't know how to get the item "of the thread," i.e.,
some of Largo's clothing.  The laundry guy won't hand over the laundry
because I don't have a ticket (and he's not falling for a blank piece of
paper) and I have been unable to get any clothes from Largo's messy room.
Here are the items I have:  piece of eight, shovel, knife, monocle,
bucket, spit encrusted paper, wood polish, stick, voodoo recipe, string,
blank paper and cheese squiggles.  Can someone please e-mail me with a
hint as to what I do now?
