  13. For the NetHack production team, here is my idea for a new race of monsters
  14. that can inhabit the world of NetHack 3.1
  15.  
  16. Terminators ;) (Yes, call me a sick little monkey ;)
  17.  
  18. All terminators are represented by a "T".
  19.  
  20. There are 3 kinds of Terminators.
  21.  
  22. 1) The Terminator Endoskeleton, HP 100-150, HD 15, resistant to death and
  23. cancellation wands. Special weapons do normal damage. Endoskeletions, or for
  24. that matter, any Terminator cannot be affected by Cockatrices, Cockatrice
  25. corpses or Medusa. They also cannot be charmed, tamed or put to sleep.

  27. Terminators do not need to eat, and thus a dead terminator will leave
  28. no corpse behind.
  29.  
  30. Terminators will also pick up and wield or wear any weapon or armor that
  31. they find, making them truly formidible opponents.
  32.  
  33. 2) Series 800, Model 101 (Arnold). HP 250-400, HD 25, as before except
  34. Special weapons do only half damage. Otherwise immune to normal weapons.
  35.  
  36. 3) The T-1000, HP N/A, HD 10, immune to all attacks from physical weapons.
  37. There is only one method to kill a T-1000. First, hit it with a wand of
  38. cold until it freezes. Second, hit it with a wand of Magic Missile to
  39. shatter it. and Finally, zap it with a wand of fire to melt it forever.
  40.  
  41. The T-1000 cannot be swallowed if the character is a Purple Worm/Lurker Above
  42. type character, as he would slice his way through your stomach shredding
  43. you to ribbons and killing you instantly. A YAFM perhaps! ;)
  44.  
  45. Terminators cannot be genocided or polymorphed.
  46.  
  47. Soulstealer does do special damage. After all, Terminators don't have
  48. souls to steal. ;)
  49.  
  50. The player cannot polymorph into a Terminator. That would e cheating! ;)
  51.  
  52. The legend about Terminators is that Desendents of the Wizard of Yendor
  53. have sent these being back in time to protect the Wizard. Or were they
  54. sent to destroy YOU? ;)
  55.  
  56. And yes, I know NetHack is a Medeival game, but considering the creators let
  57. Quantum Mechanics and their ilk in, they could logistacally put Terminators
  58. in. :)
