- To restate a fairly well known spoiler, throw weapons at the floating
- eye and you won't get paralyzed.
-
- When I find a floating eye, and want telepathy, first I try to keep
- my dog out of the room, and throw things at the eye until I kill it.
-
- If my dog is already in the room, I normally don't throw anything. I
- just stand next to the eye, let the dog attack it, and hope he doesn't
- eat it the very same move that he kills it. As soon as he kills it
- I move onto the corpse.
-
- I'm not sure if the dog is really less likely to eat it in one turn
- if he kills it, but I find that when I kill the eye, the dog almost
- always eats it that turn, but when the dog kills it, I often have
- one turn to grab it.
