- Exellent idea.
-
- I myself is a HXWZ (Hua Xia Wen Zhai) reader. What they do, in order to
- show the Chinese characters, is to convert everything to PostScript files,
- and then one can read or print out the files.
-
- In a electronic Go magazine, PostScript is not absolutely necessary; mgt
- can produce a neat looking ASCII board. I like bn's suggestion to include
- ychen's articles in such a magazine (a repost doesn't hurt). Also, we can
- post short articles on Go history, pro players' stories, problems and
- solutions, selected games on IGS (or problems from IGS games, like panx
- once posted), specific joseki's, basic skills, etc. (Yes, I admit I've read
- some real Go magazines. :-)
-
- This way, some small articles that might be posted on rec.games.go will
- get well orginized, and it's easier for people to get them at once (Yes,
- they could miss it altogether too; but then, they would *know* that they
- have missed it).
-
- Volunteers are obviously needed. Count me.
