  22. There are a number of card clubs in the L.A. metro/suburban area..
  23. mostly in Gardena (where the Normandie Club is), and there's another
  24. one in uh.. I think City of Commerce, or City of Industry or perhaps
  25. one in each. Yes, they are only card clubs. Although their teevee
  26. ads make them look like full blown casinos (odd camera angles,
  27. blinking twinkling exterior and interior shots of light displays,
  28. blurbs for "full buffet lunch and dinner blah blah etc." they allow
  29. only card games, mainly poker and variations thereupon. A lot of
  30. folks still refer to these places as "the poker clubs."

  33. in one of them myself.
