- I agree completely, which is why months ago I suggested to Ron a new
- advance betting command that looks just like "CALL $X", but instead
- of folding if the bet is greater than X, it kicks it back to you so you
- can then decide what you want to do. I know that in my case, there were
- many times when I knew that I'd be willing to call, say anything up to
- $500, and in fact, when it came to me the call was $500. So I could have
- speeded things up with an advance CALL, but I couldn't use it because
- I didn't want to risk getting folded if the call to me was $600.
-
- A small addition to my suggested command just occurred to me. How about
- something like this:
-
- CALL2 $x $y
-
- Which means that if the bet is x or less, call it; if it is y or greater,
- fold; if it is inbetween, kick it back and let me decide. This should
- be much simpler to add than the previously suggested "if" statements,
- yet it still provides what I think is some much needed flexibility
- in the advance betting commands.
