- The Johns Hopkins International Folk Dancers are having a dance workshop
- Jan. 29-31, 1993. Ron Wixman will be teaching Balkan dances and giving
- a talk titled, "Current Ethnic Conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina". If you'd

- Please join us for a weekend with Ron Wixman, one of the
- country's most well respected international folk dance
- teachers, who has taught dance groups all over the country.
- When he's not dancing, Ron is a professor of ethno-political
- geography at the University of Oregon. He's considered an
- authority on the Balkans, having written numerous books and
- given countless presentations.

- Schedule

- Friday and Saturday night events will take place at Lovely
- Lane Church which is on the corner of St. Paul and 22nd
- Streets. Park in the St. Paul Street lot that's adjacent to
- the church, if spots are available. Go in the church entrance
- that's on the other side of the fence (south of the lot).

- Friday night 8:00 - 11:00 - party
- Saturday 10:00 - 12:00 - teaching session
- 2:00 - 4:30 - teaching session
- 7:30 - 11:00 - party

- No advance registration is necessary, but call Robin and
- David at (410) 366-2742 ASAP if you need housing.

- The talk on Sunday is free and will start at 1:00 p.m. in The
- Great Hall in Levering Hall, on the Homewood Campus of JHU.
- Take the south entrance into the campus, from Wyman Park
- Drive. Levering Hall is the second building on the left.
- There should be plenty of parking spots as you drive into the
- campus. More parking is available if you go left on the road
- before Levering Hall.
