- I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of Wilson blankets.
- My friend gave me their number from an advertisement in some horsey
- magazine so I gave them a call. The same person that founded Triple
- Crown also founded this Wilson Blanket Company a few years back. Also,
- the lady who has played a large part in making the blankets for triple
- crown for 16 years has now worked for Wilson Blankets for 4 years.
- The man I spoke with on the phone, who was VERY knowledgable, told
- me they are basically the same styles as Triple Crown blankets, and
- described the blankets to me. Sure sounded just like a Triple Crown.
- They had really good prices too!! $132 for the winter blanket if you
- ordered it direct from them. It retails for $175 in the tack stores,
- and according to my catalog, the comperable Triple Crown is $181.
- I love my triple crown blankets that I use on my other horse. They
- have lasted three winters and are going strong. We just bought a new
- horse and he needs an 84" blanket. He was off the charts in most
- of my catalogs! So I went ahead and ordered this Wilson Blanket - they
- have sizes clear up to 94 or 96 - some gigantic size like that.
-
- I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company
- and their blankets. Please let me know!
- If anyone wants their number, let me know via e-mail. I don't want
- to seem like I am promoting a product on the net. Just want people's
- experience with this complany. Thanks!
