  12. Horse like carrots, and large 50 pound bags of carrots are very
  13. inexpensive, but they rotted faster than we feed them.  So we asked
  14. the carrot lady (she delivers) what to do, and she suggested storing
  15. them in a garbage can filled with water.

  17. I thought I'd pass this tip on, since they now last 10 days or more
  18. (except for the week Teco stuck his head out of the stall, opened
  19. the can, and bobbed for carrots, finishing 40 pounds in a day).
