- I don't know specifically about dog food, but I can offer the following
- experience. When I was studying rhesus monkeys down in Puerto Rico,
- I bought a little Paso horse. I grazed him all day, and at first I
- bought him a horse feed, but I found by experiment that he did super
- on Purina monkey chow which I could "borrow" from the supply shed.
- His weight was good, his coat was very shiny, and he had no problems
- at all on this feed. I'm sure each Purina animal product is formulated
- differently, so I don't know how the ingredients in monkey chow and
- dog chow match up. I would bet that both would be high in grain content.
