- Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for help about Doug's kicking.
- It appears that no one has had any bad experience using kicking chains and as
- it isn't possible for me to implement the other clever solutions proposed... I
- purchased a kicking chain and it appears to have turned the trick. The chain
- is attached to a cuff lined in sheepskin so his pastern is well protected.
- Doug has stopped kicking (he isn't stupid). After a few days, I'll remove the
- cuff and see if he has learned not to kick. If he starts up again, I'll put the
- cuff back on until he learns that as long as he going to kick he'll have to
- wear the cuff.
-
-
- Thanks Again,
-
- Mary
