  11. Auction #1:  Stars and commons from 1910-1979 mostly in bad shape.

  13. Everything is conservatively graded.  The VG-EX cards look very, very nice, and
  14. many of the poor cards are trimmed or scuffed but otherwise look very nice.
  15. Usual rules, I pay postage, no minimum increase, I will post daily the maximum
  16. bids until over.
  17.  
  18. Please bid for each complete lot and not for an individual card.  If any lot
  19. does not sell, I will break it up later and sell them individually.
  20.  
  21. There are basically two kinds of lots:  Commons and stars.  For the common
  22. lots, I have only listed the card number and condition.  There are some high
  23. numbers and/or minor stars in many of the lots.  The star lots contain several
  24. superstar cards.  I put most of the popular cards in their own lots, since
  25. there may be more interest in those.
  26.  
  27. If you are at all interested in older material, please have a look at this.
  28. Since most of the cards are beat up, it would be easy to add some interesting
  29. things to your collection.

  31. The grading scale that I used follows the list.  Please send all bids to me at

  498. Near Mint:  Very well centred and very sharp corners

  500. Excellent-Mint:  Corners have very slight wear, but fine otherwise fine.
  501.  
  502. Very Good-Excellent:  Corner wear.  May be off centre.  No creases.
  503.  
  504. Very Good:  A minor crease that doesn't break the surface or minor back
  505.             damage.
  506.  
  507. Good-Very Good:  Has one or more minor creases and corner wear.
  508.  
  509. Fair:  Has a major crease or scuffing.  Corners are no longer the issue.
  510.  
  511. Poor:  Really bad.  Has writing, tears, major back damage, or the like.
