- This morning saw a great view of a sharp-shin shivering in the pouring
- rain. He looked like he didn't have enough oil on his feathers. Later in
- the morning he spread his wings much like an Anhinga to dry out when the
- weather improved. All this within 100 or so feet of Almaden Quicksilver
- Park in San Jose, California. I have never seen a hawk act like this; is
- this common?
