- On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (24 and 25 December) there was a
- prototypical female "Oregon" Junco at my feeder in Virginia. Does
- anyone know if this is a significant bird? Does anyone care about
- tracking subspecies of Juncos?

- P.S. Saw a Merlin on the way home on Christmas Eve. This is not
- a bad bird for this time of year here.
