- I believe you're referring to the ProLong saddle. It has been available
- for some time here in the US. Specialized OEM'd them on quite a few of
- their upper-end bikes, but they didn't seem to sell too well as an
- aftermarket item. Colorado Cyclist (the mail-order place) was blowing
- out the steel-railed version for ~$20 (US). Either they had a lot of
- them or they simply weren't selling; because it was listed on every
- receipt I received from them for the last few months. I suspect the
- overly-long nose hindered the saddle's sales. (Although the rear
- portion looked like it would be easy to slide off of for more control
- on REALLY steep descents.)
