- This is possible though not common. If you use 20t sprockets or
- greater, the rate of wear diminishes in what appears to be about
- proportional to the number of teeth or better. Thus if you change
- your chain as often as you say, the sprocket disfigurement always
- be below the critical limit. Hence I suspect that you wear your
- chains out on trails where a 52t-15t ratio would be inappropriate.
- I am interested whether this is an accurate scenario for your chain.
