- Mr. Whitmore's experience reminded me that, about 1960, a Dutch
- mini-car was sold with a continuously variable belt drive.
- Right, V-belts! You need a driving and a driven variable-pitch
- shive, and connect these with some device to adjust them
- according to load applied. Sounds like it would have the same
- problems Mr. Whitmore mentioned, though.
