- But that entails having to get a bottle of something and spray in the
- general direction of the dog. What I *really* want is a button I can press
- that will send all dogs withing 20 feet of me howling away. This button
- could be pressed in a panic. I had a dobie show up RIGHT by my leg the
- other day. Luckily he was friendly, but if he'd wanted to, he could have
- brought me down. All my defense scenarios (spray the bottle at him,
- stop and get off on the opposite side, yell NO!, etc) were useless. The
- only thing I could have done is hit a panic button.
-
- If the DAZER doesn't work, maybe I could strap some rockets on my
- frame, and hit the ignitors to get out of trouble. Or maybe
- I could just pay more attention when I'm riding :-).
