- Sounds like what I call a snowmobile boot. I wear a rubber boot like
- that before and after skiing. They fit your description exactly, except
- you can't use them as ski boots. Most ski boots I've seen are
- hard-shelled with clips for the skis. These aren't like that at all,
- but do have the rubber outsides with the removable wool-felt insides as
- you describe.
