- Just a data point here. I was tromping around in a clearcut a year ago
- last June photographing bear grass. This is prime deer=tick country.
- When I returned home I had a tick attached to my chest. I removed and
- saved it. Almost immediately I had the circular rash. I went to the
- doctor and they put me on tetracycline (I think). They also were going to
- id the tick but I never heard from them on that. So far, I have had no
- problems/symptoms of LD.
