Not knowing what you consider fun and interesting makes it difficult to
respond. We don't have the grand canyon, Pike's peak or Disneyland but
there are a number of things, depending on what interests you. The Air Force
Museum is only an hour away (just outside Dayton at Wright Patterson AFB) and
there are a couple of transplanted castles over that way too (MacAchee and MacAchay--sp?). There's a lot of New England Architecture near Cleveland (the
Western Reserve) and speaking of which there are good museums in the
Western Reserve campus area. I think the state still has an 800 number
(maybe 1-800-Travel--but try 1-800 info for sure). Just outside Detroit
the Ford Museum and Greenwich could easily take a couple of days. It's probably not the time of year for Old Man's Cave. Well lot's of luck.
