  14. My favorite arrangement for studio work is to have the bodhran player
  15. face a small "wall" of RPG diffusers about 12 feet away, and put a
  16. U-87 on figure-8 pattern midway between them. Try to kill most of the
  17. other reflective surfaces in the studio.   This also works for "bones"
  18. (the kind that you rattle), but there you need to watch closely for clipping.

  20. For live performance, try a small pzm aimed in the general direction of
  21. the bodhran.
