- From what I heard from technical support at Turtle Beach, the
- only reason their product doesn't yet do direct to disk multi-
- track recording is that they want to use the windows platform
- (had anyone heard of this company before Windows Multimedia?).
- When windows will handle multi-threading (like multi-tasking,
- except with highly precise time alignment) the hardware will
- support direct to disk multitrack recording (DDMR ?).
-
- I believe Windows NT, due for release in the next few months,
- handles multi-threading. (By the time you get it and all its
- required hardware and the turtle beach, you'll probably spend
- about the same amount :^) .
