  21. From what I heard from technical support at Turtle Beach, the
  22. only reason their product doesn't yet do direct to disk multi-
  23. track recording is that they want to use the windows platform
  24. (had anyone heard of this company before Windows Multimedia?).
  25. When windows will handle multi-threading (like multi-tasking,
  26. except with highly precise time alignment) the hardware will
  27. support direct to disk multitrack recording (DDMR ?).

  29. I believe Windows NT, due for release in the next few months,
  30. handles multi-threading.  (By the time you get it and all its
  31. required hardware and the turtle beach, you'll probably spend
  32. about the same amount :^) .
