  19. It is a breath screen.  Much less destrictive to the sound then a foam
  20. type.  I also use it to keep the performer at the right distamce from
  21. the mic.

  23. The first incarnations of this breath screen was done using a womans
  24. nylon stocking and a bent up coat hanger.... One used to be able to
  25. switch between different colors and styles of hose to get a different 
  26. effect in the vocal.  My favorite was this nice blond number that had
  27. birds on the hose........  :-)
