  14. Hi,
  15. i have two (not very good sounding) Denon POA 4400 mono amplifiers, which are
  16. connected symmetrically to an AVM Evolution V1 preamp. I had to swap the 
  17. three pin XLR plugs against four pin XLR since the AVM delivers an additional 
  18. signal to switch the mono amplifiers on. The AVM came with a wiring scheme of 
  19. the XLR pin out but i didn't get one for the Denon so i assumed that the Denon 
  20. would be wired the same way.

  22. How can i test the cables for correct wiring? If i understand this right it
  23. makes no difference if both cables have swapped signals.
