- Hi,
- i have two (not very good sounding) Denon POA 4400 mono amplifiers, which are
- connected symmetrically to an AVM Evolution V1 preamp. I had to swap the
- three pin XLR plugs against four pin XLR since the AVM delivers an additional
- signal to switch the mono amplifiers on. The AVM came with a wiring scheme of
- the XLR pin out but i didn't get one for the Denon so i assumed that the Denon
- would be wired the same way.
-
- How can i test the cables for correct wiring? If i understand this right it
- makes no difference if both cables have swapped signals.
-
- Please reply via e-mail.
-
- thanks and a nice holiday to you,
- Adrian
