  23. I support this recommendation:  I had an STR-550 for I don't know how
  24. long, and it was always on the blink.  It started with the tuner going
  25. bad, which kept going bad no matter how many times I got it fixed.  Then
  26. the remote, then the display, then the front panel controls.  I usually
  27. only listened to CDs, and if I left it turned on (always) and left it in
  28. AUX mode it wouldn't complain.  Since I'm pretty lazy, I was somewhat
  29. satisfied to keep it in that condition...
