  14. Ok I can't resist tossing in my $0.02 worth, in spite of the fact I
  15. have no direct experience with Velodyne!  Remember free advice is often
  16. worth what it costs.

  18. Could it be that what you are hearing is the AC power transformer's
  19. asoustic hum through the woofer cone and/or port?  Does the hum go
  20. away or change if you lightly damp the woofer cone with your fingers?
  21. If not it could be that transformer humming to its self.  If you fool
  22. around with audio long enough you WILL get a piece of gear with a
  23. humming AC transformer.
