- They're a lot harder to snap, especially since they don't get rewound and
- are read without contacting a head. Magnetic fields don't matter, and you
- don't have to worry about the oxide flaking off of the substrate.

- renter.
- o A rental store doesn't really care about their media anyway.
- o A local mostly-VHS rental place has a couple of dozen LD's, including
- several of the obscure Criterion releases and a copy of the Aliens set.
