- Curious :-) I have a Velodyne F1000, and it too hums (softly)
- when all else is off and/or disconnected. I think I've convinced
- myself that it is the servo motor - which normally you would never
- hear during actual sound production. BTW, hearing this requires
- some effort - I had to get down on the ground in front of it to
- listen at the cone. I have mentioned it to Velodyne, but no
- response from them yet. At this point, however, I turn it off
- when all else is off :-)
