- Lots of questions accumulated over the weeks, finally asked here:
-
- general questions:
-
- 1) What is the first thing one can do to improve the sound of
- a room, once the speakers are placed?
-
- 2) Does anybody have the plans for building a 'decent' subwoofer?
- Oh, also, it has to have its own amplifier because it has
- to work with even a 25W amplifier.
-
- 3) "Pointy feet" or "tiptoes", what is their purpose, and do
- they work well fulfilling that purpose? If one has a set
- of them, should one put them on the stand, or individual
- components?
-
- non-general questions:
-
- 4a) Does anybody know of any tweaks to improve the sound on
- the Rotel 955AX CD player, that are do-it-yourself-able?
-
- b) Same question for Thorens TD166 Mk II?
-
- c) Where does one get the metal support for the cartrige
- "Sumiko Blue Point"? (to replace the plastic support)
