- Pretty expensive answering machine. For the cost
- difference that is inevitable, I can't imagine people
- opting for DCC over ACC in such devices. Other forms of

- Actually MD sounds like the perfect medium for answering machines,
- lossy compression and all, if they can get the cost down.
- Being able to erase individual messages will be great.
