- Assuming of course that the PASC circuts are dropped for computer srorage, and
- that the important part of the MD is the MO read/write features, they seem
- promising for simple archival and other data not needed for random access.
- MD still suffers from the same problems CD-ROMs do with regard to variable
- spin rates and inertia killing random seek times. I still look forward to a
- small portable disc capable of handling well over 100MB, but I do not expect
- it to replace my 250MB HD.
