- What, 300 US$? Ought to be half that, given the UK price and the
- present exchange rate. Nevermind, another of life's little mysteries.
-
- Might have trouble finding Diamond IVs, as Wharfedale have just
- replaced them with the Diamond V. (On the other hand, that might mean
- you could find someone clearing them out at a discount.) Apparently,
- the primary difference is that they've retuned the bass port a little
- bit. I haven't heard the V's yet. The IV's are very nice, and I run a
- pair as remotes in our back 'porch'.
-
- I have seen 2 reviews of the V's, one of which thought they were better
- than the IV's, and one of which thought they were worse. Who knows?
- If it means anything, the reviewer who thought that V's were an
- improvement over IV's works for a mag which reviews only classical
- music; the reviewer who thought V's were worse works for a mag where
- jazz and rock are the most common types of music used for tests.
