- I own an SAE R2 receiver that I bought back in the late 70's. I'm
- starting to have a few problems with it, and I'm deciding whether it's
- worthwhile spending around $150.00 to fix it or buy a new one. I think
- it's rated at around 60 WPC. Does anyone have an opinion as to how good
- this receiver is compared to what's out now, or more relevantly, how much
- will I have to spend to get a comparable one (brand names and model
- numbers)? Is it impossible to get SAE replacement parts? I heard the
- company is out of business. I welcome any response.
