  12. I have an Onkyo CD player for about two years, and use
  13. it infrequently. Recently, the sound disappeared. 
  14. Before I send it to the dealer for repair, I would like
  15. to get someone's opinion. 
  16.   Is there a way I can fix it myself? 
  17.   If it must be done by the dealer, how much should
  18.   it cost for reasonable charge? (I bought it for $170)
  19. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
