  16. I've got a pair of Advent 5002 speakers, about 12 years old.  The back
  17. of the speaker says "Advent 5002", but it does not say anything about
  18. the impedance.  Older and newer similar (large) speakers are 8 ohm
  19. speakers.

  21. I've had very poor luck finding anyone who knows for sure (tried two
  22. stores, one repair shop, the library, and a used book store).  Does
  23. anyone happen to know the impedance of these speakers?

  25. For reference, I was thinking of hooking up the speakers that I
  26. already own (and use as furniture) to a bookshelf system that
  27. supplies/uses "8 ohm" speakers (that would fit nicely in my office).
