- Please note the limited distribution, and the please reply to me, both
- to cut the newsgroup clutter and so I'll actually see the answer.
-
- I've got a pair of Advent 5002 speakers, about 12 years old. The back
- of the speaker says "Advent 5002", but it does not say anything about
- the impedance. Older and newer similar (large) speakers are 8 ohm
- speakers.
-
- I've had very poor luck finding anyone who knows for sure (tried two
- stores, one repair shop, the library, and a used book store). Does
- anyone happen to know the impedance of these speakers?
-
- For reference, I was thinking of hooking up the speakers that I
- already own (and use as furniture) to a bookshelf system that
- supplies/uses "8 ohm" speakers (that would fit nicely in my office).
