- I think I actually like your suggestion better, because it's honest.

- For example, the stupid alternative solution to the "echo room" puzzle
- in Zork is IMHO almost a cheat. Instead of performing a lot of clever
- actions (as in the original solution), you just do one, rather stupid,
- thing, and voila, the puzzle is solved. The worst thing is that this
- "solution" is spread via many cheat sheets and hint collections, so
- many players don't even know there's a "real" solution (as witnessed
- by some flamage in this newsgroup).
