  12. Hey, the "Sex Drive" was at least a creative idea, no?  And, let's face
  13. it, with some of the Doctor's companions there has to be at least a
  14. little steam built up.

  16. Seriously, though, the TARDIS could drain the "urge" for more reasons
  17. than propulsion.  If is is somewhat alive, and somewhat intelligent, and
  18. if it does provide the travellers with local lingo (been suggested
  19. before), then wouldn't the travellers act as the TARDIS's long-range
  20. senses?  And its legs, since it can't go anywhere alone?  Sapping the
  21. sex drive might be a method used by TARDISes to keep their operators
  22. from straying.

  24. It could also be one of Rassilon's tricks.  To prevent intervention in
  25. local affairs <g>.  Since the TT Capsules were intended for OBSERVATION
  26. only, removing the reproductive urge might keep the Time Lords' eyes
  27. open, intellect functioning, and robes on.
