- I've been thinking about this for quite some time, and haven't seen anything
- posted about it, so here goes:
-
- In the first season of Doctor Who (in particular, "Unearthly Child") we
- see the junkyard at Totters' Lane with the name "I. M. Foreman" on the
- wood fence. This re-appears in the McCoy Dalek story (Revelation?).
- (This place is where we first see the TARDIS and meet the First Doctor.)
-
- If you pronounce that name with a slight twist on the accents, you can
- easily get -- "I Am For Man" -- I feel this is INCREDIBLY insightful
- (if they indeed planned it that way) for the Doctor does indeed seem to be
- for mankind/humanity/justice in general. What a great way to set the
- tone for an incredible 30+ year journey!
-
- Any thoughts and/or observations on this?
