- Does anyone have odd pieces of dinnerware in the cattail pattern? This
- pattern was produced by Universal Potteries and Sears, I believe from
- the 1930s to the 1940s. They have a cream colored background and bright
- red and black cattails. Pieces by either of the above are fine, but I
- am not interested in the ones that have a white design embossed around
- the rim of the dinnerplates. These were given away by a ladies magazine,
- I believe, and are not nearly as attractive to me as the others.
-
- I am especially looking for dinner plates and soup and dessert-size bowls.
- I also would love to find the teapot (I have the lid) and any of the
- matching table linens in the same pattern. There was even a porcelain-top
- table and chairs set made with cattails on the table top.
-
- If you have any of these items to sell, please e-mail me with a
- description, including condition, and your asking price.
-
- Thanks.
