  16. Jan. 6  --"The Uses and Gratifications of Personal Telephone Networks"

  18.             John Dimmick, Professor, Department of Communication
  19.  
  20. Professor Dimmick will present the results of his research on telephone usage
  21. and personal telephone networks. In two recent studies conducted in Ohio, Dr.
  22. Dimmick uncovered three factors in telephone gratifications: instrumentality,
  23. sociability and reassurance. He will discuss those findings as well as his
  24. development of a typology of personal telephone networks.

  26. The Roundtable will be held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the Ohio Legal Center, Room 
  27. 115, 33 W. 11th Ave.

  30. High St. From the garage, walk south on High Street past the Union and the Law 
  31. School, and turn right (west) onto 11th. The Ohio Legal Center will be on your 
  32. left. No reservations are necessary. Roundtables are free and open to the 
  33. public.
