- Unfortunately, it's easier to get off legally if you hit a child. Also, you
- might want to be careful. Some areas have (unposted) minimum speed limits. If
- you slow your car below the minimum, you can be cited. And if the other
- driver can establish that you were travelling below the minimum, you're at
- least partially at fault. ("Partial" fault counts when you sue for damages).
