  10. One other thing about gas in NJ...
  11. Another reason for a lack of self service is an antiquated law on the 
  12. books in NJ is that self service is illegal due to the risk of fires.  
  13. I believe Wyoming is the only other state in the union with this law.  
  14. My father used to own a gas station and a lot of times people would 
  15. want to pump their own gas.  Some people actually demanded to pump 
  16. their own gas, ignoring the law.  It's a ridiculous law but the gas 
  17. station owners lobby in NJ is so powerful that even though the law is 
  18. ridiculous, it will be around for the foreseeable future.
