- If you can't handle the risk of being flamed in E-Mail or via public
- posts for posting stupid and off-topic posts to a newsgroup whose topic
- shifted to complaints about your stupidity and thoughtlessness in posting
- subsequent to your posts, you have no business participating in Usenet.
- If you don't like this, stay off Usenet. If you don't like accountability
- for posting on a public network, don't post. If you wish to use the many
- BBS systems in the SF Bay Area to post to Usenet newsgroups, go right
- ahead. Of course, if you annoy sufficient people from a BBS, the sysop is
- likely to pull your account privileges. Unrestricted freedom of speech is
- not something that goes with Usenet access. And if you don't like it,
- tough shit.
