- First and foremost, I wrote an article dealing quite specifically with
- a news.admin.policy question. It was written exclusively to n.a.p
- with no redirected followup. Yet the largely content-free response to
- that note from Monsieur Argic managed to blossom into a posting to
- talk.politics.mideast,talk.politics.soviet,soc.culture.greek,
- soc.culture.europe,soc.history,soc.culture.soviet,news.admin.policy
- with followups aimed at soc.culture.turkish. And the response still
- had no relation whatever to my reason for posting. Yet he purports to
- take me to task for "not addressing...points made" -- the pot calls the
- kettle black...when the kettle isn't made of iron in the first place.
-
- I do declare, that's not cricket.

- sera@zuma.uucp writes in response:
- Where in the world did you dig up the above rhetoric?
-
- Oh, I don't know, maybe in <9212242253@zuma.UUCP> where you wrote
- You have the right to terminate conversations with people who make
- you feel put down and humiliated
- to someone who didn't earn any such appellation. Or possibly we
- should try
- Subject: "Rawlinson" utterly humiliates "Spiros
- Triantafyllopoulos" of "delco"
- in <9212242257@zuma.UUCP>.
-
- By the way, you are still not addressing the original
- points made.
-
- Of course not, child, nor do I have any intention of doing so. You
- seem to think that I'm taking you seriously; that is a grave error on
- your part. Go away, son, you're beginning to bore me.
-
- If you want to argue politics, stick to the talk.* newsgroups. If you
- want to talk about Usenet administration policy, keep your responses
- on-topic and in n.a.p only; the two sets of newsgroups have no
- intersection. At the moment, I can't think of a single thing you've
- said lately which has the slightest thing to do with n.a.p.
