  30.   announcements from the University of Minnesota Board of Regents making
  31.   Ahmet Cosar a representative of the University of Minnesota.

  35.   Let me try to clarify the relationships between the UofMn, the .mn.org
  36.   domain, anatolia.mn.org, and Ahmet Cosar.

  38.   Ahmet Cosar is a graduate student at the CSci dept. of the  UofMn. He 
  39.   operates a site by the name of anatolia.mn.org. The site anatolia.mn.org
  40.   is a member of .mn.org. The domain .mn.org exists because it provides 
  41.   services to a number of hobbyests and small companies around the state of
  42.   Minnesota. 
  43.  
  44.   Historically (at least for the past 7 years) the CSci dept. has helped
  45.   the members of the .mn.org domain by providing them with e-mail/news feeds
  46.   to 1 or 2 of thier sites (.mn.org is organized in a tree-like hierarchy, 
  47.   the CSci dept feed the uppermost node of the tree). These sites then go on
  48.   to feed the rest of .mn.org. More recently some other depts. around campus
  49.   are providing help to .mn.org. by feeding news to the uppermost node, and
  50.   I think that 1(2) sites provide backup nameserver services.
