- Well, that's all fine and good, but it is NOT the problem I'm having.
- This is multiple copies of the same article with the same Message-ID, not
- crossposted, and all having in common the fact that they are in the heirarchies
- I currently get from both newsfeeds.
-
- For example, on my system articles 958 and 987 of news.admin.misc both
- contain:
-
- From: lowen@lorc.eskimo.com (Lamar Owen)
- Newsgroups: news.admin.misc
- Subject: Re: Is Usenet growing really fast?

- The only difference in the headers being the order of some of the
- fields, and the Path line, which shows that one came from each feed.
-
- Once again, I can't seem to duplicate the problem manually by feeding
- relaynews, but most EVERYTHING coming through both feeds gets created twice.
-
- If there is no answer for this, can anyone recommend a package (with
- it's location) that will handle this situation better? I've seen praise of INN
- on the net, but that unfortunately seems only for internet feeds. I need
- something to intelligently handle uucp feeds.
