- Hello Ken!
-
- Tuesday December 22 1992, Ken Quinn writes to Mark Kraml:
-
- KQ> I'll post a public message in a public echo at my convenience, thank you
-
- that not what i meant. please do always post as your comments are apreciated.
-
- KQ> very much. As for what I was saying about Dr. Fabrikant, from what I
- have
- KQ> been reading in the Gazette, he is not a completely sane man at present.
- KQ> He tends to think the system is out to get him. He has fired every
- lawyer
- KQ> appointed to him, if they didn't already quit. He wants a computer with
- a
- KQ> modem, and a private office, in prison. He contends that perhaps the
- KQ> police made the bullet holes in the walls after he was 'escorted' from
- the
- KQ> Hall building.
-
- i would like this case solved fast. from what i remember in the case Fabrikant
- was told he "will be locked up" by alan gold, he decided to bring a gun to
- school and the rest is sad history. so i say give the man his computer and let
- him make a case, since we are all already told he is guilty it should only be
- a matter of formality to get a conviction. unless there is some evidence we
- dont want presented in court and would rather make the man seem "crazy".
-
- there is no excuse for what the man did but if i was told by a person of
- authority about my impending "arrest" i would worry. i i lived most of my life
- in the soviet union maybe thats the "good button" to push to "make me crack"
- the problems is maybe the coworkers did not expect such a loud "crack".
-
- we should strive to give the entire "truth" a fair hearing,
-
- "a court of law is a crucible in which we burn away irrelevancies until we are
- left with the truth" J.L.P.
-
- the question of a computer and a modem is not relevant to the case. if today
- Fabrikant decides that a computer is better than a lawyer then that is his
- choice.
