  11. It has been discovered that, due to "technical difficulties", some mail
  12. passing through pwcs or destined for pwcs has definitely been lost
  13. today, Monday, the 21st of December, and that some other mail may have
  14. been lost as far back as Wednesday, the 16th.  It only really became
  15. obvious on Monday.  News was not affected, nor were uuto file transfers.

  17. The mail that was lost is irrecoverable because it was vicously stomped
  18. upon, shredded, mutilated, spindled, and finally throw in to the trash
  19. can.  I recommend that if you aren't sure that your mail successfully
  20. reached its destination, that you resend any mail between those dates,
  21. just to be sure.
